Citizenship Programme
Children from the Mead School have teamed up with people from Kingfisher Church to make meals for the town's homeless. A group of children from the Paxcroft Mead School made sandwiches as part of a citizenship programme called 'Workshops on Wednesdays' (WOW). The children are learning to be good citizens within their community. The sandwiches will be given to people who live on the streets in Trowbridge as part of the church-led initive the 'Soup Run'.
They also hope to be involved in many other ways in the near future.
